Villa la Conchiglia

Villa La Conchiglia is a historic residence in Capri, originally built by lawyer Ugo Reiter in accordance with the traditional architectural style of the island, featuring the characteristic Capri vaults and columns, terracotta floors and beautifully decorated ceramic majolica tiles.

Since 1990, the current owners have carried out a complete renovation, using high-quality materials and updating the villa while carefully preserving its authentic character and charm.

The villa enjoys a strategic and convenient location, perfectly positioned between the main landmarks of Capri’s center. It is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Piazzetta, Via Camerelle — renowned for luxury shopping — and the Capri Tennis Club, and about 5 minutes from the Gardens of Augustus and the taxi and bus station.

The villa features five bedrooms with private bathrooms. On the first floor there are two suites with separate living areas and private terraces, as well as a classic bedroom with a window. On the ground floor there is one deluxe bedroom with bathroom and one classic bedroom with bathroom, both with independent access to the garden.

The living area includes a spacious entrance hall with a guest bathroom, a dining room next to the fully equipped kitchen, and a large double living room that opens onto a generous outdoor lounge area set within the garden surrounding the villa. There are two outdoor dining areas: one extending from the dining room and another located next to the pizza oven and barbecue area. The elegant colonnade area of the villa is dedicated to aperitifs and relaxation, featuring a bar station and comfortable lounge seating.

The solarium area, arranged on two terraces around the heated saltwater swimming pool, makes the villa even more unique given its central location.

Nestled in the peaceful Valentino area, the villa offers breathtaking views over the Piazzetta and the iconic Faraglioni rocks, which can be admired from the fully equipped rooftop terrace featuring a lounge area, showers and summer beds.

The villa is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV and air conditioning in both the bedrooms and the living areas.

A dedicated laundry area for staff is also available.
